The “Lord Newlands” Stradivarius from 1702 is very special to me, because I truly feel, that it became my perfect instrument to express everything in a very personal way. My idea of sound, regarding colors and vibration, was influenced a lot from this violin and whenever I am playing any other instrument, I am instantly looking for it as well. It has an open and ringing, silvery sound, with a lot of warmth to it. I feel, that I can make music with the “Lord Newlands”, which is very personal and honest.
